Hatteras Cottage Design

Sound Design Build was commissioned to create a custom cottage design for a local builder’s personal home in Hatteras. With a floor plan under 2,000 sqft, efficiency was key! An expansive back deck offers breathtaking sound side views, exemplifying Hatteras architecture. 

The design pays homage to the rich history of the area, drawing inspiration from local historical buildings, the Hatteras weather station, life-saving stations, and original cottages.
